Pre-construction
In our experience, the projects that proceed best are those on which the owner retains the services of a constructor long before the first shovel hits the ground. Our personnel excel at providing the right advice to our clients at the pre-construction stage. Design-build
When time is of the essence, owners often turn to design-build to deliver projects. Frecon has long experience working under this at-times complex method of procurement. We understand the requirement to be creative in our approach to design, flexible in our approach to the entire project concept, and nimble when it comes to responding to design changes as we build.
We have strong established ties with professionals across the design community who help us arrive at the perfect conceptual design to suit a client’s requirements. Construction management
For a building owner, the true benefit of construction management is the opportunity to work with a trusted partner to deliver a building. When Frecon acts as construction manager, we shoulder all responsibility for the delivery of a project. We work with our clients to shape their building requirements, build a construction team capable of delivering an outstanding building within budget and schedule parameters, and manage all aspects of delivery of the work, from initial conceptual design to final occupancy of the building.

General contracting
Lump-sum tendering was the procurement method on which our company enjoyed much of its early success. Among general contractors today, Frecon is known to be fair and competitive in the open bidding market, and skilled at delivering many kinds of buildings across the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors. We are fortunate to enjoy exceptional relationships with many of Eastern Ontario’s best subcontractors, and count on them to deliver their best prices and best work on lump-sum tendering contracts. Should the need arise, we also have the capacity and experience to perform the majority of construction work on smaller projects using our own forces.
