Project Description

Scope of Work:

This project involves the replacement of a portion of the exterior windows of the building and an entrance door and sidelights. Additionally, it involves the renovation of existing washrooms to provide a new universal washroom. There is extensive terrazzo work associated with this project.

Please Note – Prequalified Trades Include: Electrical, Mechanical, Abatement, & Glazing

 

Location:

2158 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario.

 

Important Dates / Schedule:

• Window and entrance replacement part of the work is to be completed by August 2024.

 

• Abatement, demolition, and work in the corridors in the area of the new universal washroom to be completed by 23 August 2024.

 

• Work for the universal washroom to be completed by 30 November 2024.

 

• Partial occupancy of the school for all areas outside the area of the universal washroom to be obtained by 23 August 2024.

 

• After 23 August 2024 the school will be occupied and work is to be scheduled to not interfere with building activities. Normal construction activities can be conducted during normal hours. Schedule noisy work or work that requires systems shutdowns from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm weekdays and on weekends and holidays.
