Project Description
The project involves upgrading the electrical service at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria, Ontario. Work includes new 44 kV service infrastructure, transformers, switchgear, distribution equipment, automatic transfer switches, and connections to the existing emergency generators. Associated work includes underground duct banks, electrical room renovations, mechanical and fire protection modifications, and site restoration. Construction will be phased to maintain hospital operations, with coordinated shutdowns, infection control measures, and testing and commissioning.
